Industri[us] at Thrive! 2011, Memorial Park, Newham

We had a great day at Thrive! 2011, playing a low-tech interactive ‘production line’ game.

We asked people what the last item was that they threw away, and what they might do with it to transform it into something more valuable. In total we collected 52 tags and spoke to many families, community group reps, and Councillors.

A giant Jenga game made of recycled wood entertained passers-by, and everyone who played the game went away with a polaroid photo to remember us by.

Our thanks to all our visitors, the organisers of the event and the community groups we met as well as to Bev, Andy and Victoria for masterminding and running the event so well.
